How to hang large framed art with corner brackets

If you have framed a large photo or piece of art with Framebridge, you'll receive a frame with corner brackets. This hanging hardware may look a little intimidating, but corner brackets actually make hanging large works unbelievably simple. Plus, they prevent you from having to straighten your art over time.

Step 1: Find your spot

Once you’ve picked a spot to hang, determine where you would like the top center of your frame to sit. Measure two inches below that point, and make a light mark on the wall with a pencil.

Step 2: Measure your frame

Look at the back of your frame, and measure the distance between the two arrows on each corner bracket. Make note of this number.

Step 3: Mark your nail locations

Locate the mark you made on the wall. Divide the distance between the arrows in half. Measure out this distance to both the right and left of your mark, and lightly mark the wall with your pencil. Now measure between those two marks and make sure you have the correct total distance.

Step 4: Hammer in the hooks

Nail in the provided hooks at the two points you marked.

Step 5: Hang your piece. 

With the help of a friend or family member, lift your frame onto the two hooks. Take a few steps back to ensure it’s straight. If you’re undecided, use a level to check.
